Are They Serious?
I had posted a earlier thread on here. HELP! 93 CUTLASS WONT START. I was having a problem with the ignition system. somewhere before the icm. I finally gave up and took it in for a "proffesional" opinion. Problem is they did a diagnostic and turned nothing up. So according to them the timing belt had ground the teeth out and something about it being a zero resistance motor and it "probly destroyed the inside of the motor". Pistons valves making contact or something. I dont know much about all that, but they are saying that there is spark to the motor. I personally pulled the plugs out before and there was no spark! I checked to see if there was power going to the icm and there wasn't. Could the two be related at all or are these guys lying through thier teeth? I just got the car there this mourning. I dont even think its possible they could get to the timing belt that quick. You would probly agree if you have seen one of these motors. It's a 3.4 and it looks like the motor would almost have to come out of the car to get that cover off! Help me! Are these guys bullshiting me? Or is there even the smallest chance they are telling the truth?

Re: Are They Serious?
From here we cannot determine whether the T belt failed, if it did there would be no compression in some cylinders and yes the valves could hit the pistons, ask them how they found this.

Re: Are They Serious?
If the motor was junk as they say it would never start
