I need help changing a headlight bulb

How do you get the grille out of a 2004 Ranier? The manual says "grasp the grille and pull forward." This doesn't work. I sure don't want to break it. Is there some trick I seem to be missing? I need to change the headlight and that is the only way to get the headlight assembly out. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: I need help changing a headlight bulb

If you unlock the retaining tabs for the headlamp assembly, you still have to remove the grille for removal clearance ?

Re: I need help changing a headlight bulb

I just changed my headlight and yes it does pop out. I was able to pop out one top retaining clip easily. I used a flat head screw driver to get behind the clip and coax out of the slot. Be careful not to pop out the clip from the grill as it may break the plastic. Look closely at the clip. Coax it out by placing the flat part of the screwdriver between the clip and the part on the body of the car. It's a breeze after that.
