Daytime Running Lights

In my 2003 Vue, the daytime running lights indicator on the dashboard flashes and then shuts off. The daytime running lights aren't working. Also when I use the keyless entry to lock/unlock the vehicle, the lights won't flash. I checked the fuse under the hood in the fuse block, it's a good fuse.

Any ideas why they aren't working? The headlights work at night without any problems, as well as the fog lights.

Re: Daytime Running Lights

if i remember correctly for the vues the DRL's use the highbeams.... have you checked all your lights, low beams and high beams. I know on some models if you have a burnt out bulb it will cause this. if not it sounds as if your DRL relay is going bad. I would start with these two first.

Re: Daytime Running Lights

There is a resister above the left front wheel towards the bumper on the frame, they always crack, that is probably where you problem is.
