Not long, my first car model was Tamiya 1/24 Lancer Evolution VII WRC, the 2005 NSX-R GT500 was my 3rd model with the other 2 being my 4th and 5th work so far.

I like these builds a lot. They're laser clean and have a really good presentation.

What's interesting though, and it's not at all a commentary on the build but on the kits, is that you can see daylight through the rear wheel wells on the two newer JGTC kits (I believe both of which are metal chassis) while the older 1998 full detail NSX doesn't suffer that issue.

Yup, the two newer kits have no detail under the car and definitely no details inside either. However, personally I prefer no detail inside since I will be looking at the exterior as will most people when viewing the model on display. What I like though is the Metal plate undertray that gives the 2005 NSX-R GT the weight which feels like a nice diecast. The newer GT-R however, lacks the detail of the older JGTC model underside while at the same time lacks the weight and feel of the 2005 NSX-R GT kit.
