rsx. i can beat a gt-s. even with a rsx. raced both, the gt-s driver is better also...mods on the gts=trd exhaust, CAI. compared to the type s=hondata, CAI, brushings...the rsx walks on the gt-s everytime they race, even with a weaker driver.

many say it does come down to the driver, but i've raced some rather heavily (bolt on) modeed celica gts's and never had a problem walking them, maybe i'm just racing the wrong celicas. i know people that swear their celicas will walk anything from a gti to a mustang. i see that you say an rsx, yeah a celica gts will probably walk a regular rsx, but a type s, thats another story.

are you comparing a base rsx with a GT-S or a type S with a GT-S the two are a totally different race. since i am a owner of a RSX Type S i would have to go with the RSX. I have beaten some Stang GTs, a new Mazda 6s and a 2003 Honda Accord with 240 ponies and also i beat my friends GTP that has a Jet Performance Chip and some kind of K & N intake system putting it at around 260 horses i saw it infront of my own eyes sounds like bullshit but hey it even surprised me

I'm doing a comparision contrast paper on the RSX Type-S vs. Celica GT-S. How convinient that you are having a debate on it. Ok, basically what I need is another topic. I've discussed performance and handling. What is another aspect I can compare that will give me another paragraph. Thanks.

perhaps reliability, how well they will take on to aftermarket parts, looks, main selling audience, etc.?? or even history of past models, i.e. the past celicas and the past integras

No problem

Hey all I gotta say is that I beat a Celica GT-S so many times. My friend kyle he owns a Celica GT-S. He got a Greddy Evo Full Cat-Back Exhuast and K&N intake system. Me RSX Type-S 03 model is running with a Greddy Evo Full Cat-Back Exhuast with Injen Short-Ram Intake. And we would race all the time and I would beat him by like 2 or 3 car lenghs....But like everyone says it all depend on the drive but me and him are pretty much the same.

I wonder which would be better at a racetrack (with turns). I'd like more people to actually learn how to drive instead of killing bystanders, passengers, and themselves.

Rsx....I seen many people beat the GT-S with thier stock regular RSX. I have seen a weaker driver beat a good driver in a GT-s...problem with GT-S is that they have really low turque....regular rsx have vetter turque as well....rsx will walk it

the rsx jumps off the line a lot quicker, but the vvti pull seems to be a little more powerful than the i vtec

uh,

don't know where u get your information from but even taking the weight into account the rsx has a slight edge over the celica in hp/weight ratio. have u even driven both cars yet?

if you're talking to me, no i haven't driven either but i've raced both. the rsx got a slight jump off the line but got smoked all in all, and the gts celica was pretty close

my friend owned the rsx so we ran a few times and i have raced other rsx's with similar results, but the celica was just a random encounter on the highway and that's the only one i ever raced, maybe he was just a better driver than my friend.
