RS3000 ECU location on 98' Camry

Anyone out there know where the ECU is for the RS3000 security system on a 98 Camry -

i had the same problem ... so i went to the dealer and told me that it is under my drivers seat....i check and nothing.....but what i did was i followed the wire from the red blinking light on my dash to the alarm ecu...and there it was....

So where was the unit. I have had no luck finding it

It's tucked under the driver's seat. You have to remove a bunch of crap, though... Side-lip cowling, etc... It's a pain in the ass... Why do you need to get to it?

I need to program a new keyfob. I looked under the seat and could not see it. Is it under the carpet? Do i need to take the seat out?

dude.... just follow the alarm indicator...... red blinking light from the dash it is connected to the ecu...that is what i did and i found it and it was no where near under my seat....
