94 Camaro 3.4L starting problem
I am working on a 94 Camaro 3.4L i replaced the head gaskets on this car about 3 months ago or so. Well he took a trip about 2 weeks ago and we got hit with alot of snow and got stuck a couple times (no big deal) so he parked the car for a couple days and drove his other vehicle. Well it sat for 2 days and he went to use it but it woudln't start so I went over and looked at it and I could not get it to start, I checked, fule pressure - 46 psi (not sure what is suppose to be but this should be sufficient enough to start), checked spark - good, checked compression on 5 cylinders - good. I have no idea what it could be any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Joe

Re: 94 Camaro 3.4L starting problem
Since you're getting fuel readings and confirm spark, I assume it turns over, just won't catch?

Re: 94 Camaro 3.4L starting problem
Have you checked to see if there is voltage at the injector connectors using a noid light or I think a "194" or "197" bulb by straightening out the fillament wires ?
Have you tried spraying starting fluid in the throttle ? Is it an orange, weak, or blue/white, strong, spark ? Just a few thoughts |
