Mass airflow sensor

Any reason why I should not get the 70.00 Cardone vs the 300.00 Bosch???

you can take those apart and they have special spray to clean them that would save you alot more money. don't use carb cleaner either. you can get the cleaner at autozone,advanced or any other parts store i would give that a try first you will even save more money.are you sure it's the maf? if cleaning it don't work i'd be dam if i'd give $300.00 for a maf.

That is what my stumped mechanic wanted to try.
The emmission workshop light keeps coming on..so far I have had new vacuum hoses.
I figured I would save money if I replaced the MAF myself.
I will look into the spray.
