ecu help
my car dies randomly. not just at idle. if you hold the throttle, it will stay running. it was just at idle, i replaced the o2 sensor and aic. then my mechanic hooked it up to his computer and it died while he was scanning it. he says its probably my ecu. no cel. no codes. its a 96 auto 2.0 dohc. he said the ecu for the 95 doesnt have to be, but some of the 96's have top be programmed for the car. any1 know about this? will a 95 work for mine. will a neon or talon? whats the best bet for 1 that i wont have to reprogram?

 yea, id say its low 96 eclipse gs, custom ram intake, 4:1 header, no cat, straight through muffler, 2'' lowering springs, rear interior removed and replaced with false bottom, kenwood deck, lightning audio fronts, pioneer rear, rockford fosgate punch series 600w class d mono amp, alpine type r 12'' sub- hit 131.3 at the passenger head rest

Could be a bad ground or connection at the battery also. Not all 420a ECUs will work. Make you sure make the serial numbers on them. I would try to find one for a 96 eclipse or talon auto
