'99 Protege, Battery light comes on, loss of power

I have a '99 Protege. The problem started when the car would not start after refueling. The car ran when it was jump started so I replaced the battery. After driving a while the car died again. I replaced the alternator even though it tested fine. After driving a while the battery light came on and the car lost power, the new battery was also leaking fluid. I upgraded the battery, Now after driving a few blocks the battery light still comes on and the car significantly loses power. It may be a coincidence but it seems it's when the engine fan comes on. I had the new alternator and new new battery checked and they right on 14.25v. I have no idea what could be wrong with it.

Have you had an on vehicle AVR test done? What is the alternator doing while the system is running and loaded?

It sounds like something else in your charging system must be bad. Have it checked at an autoparts store. Most will do it for free.
