Radio Stays on After Key is off, Doors won't lock

Hi Poncho People, I got a weird one (weird to me anyways). After I turn the ignition off, my radio stays on. Even after opening the door. The same time this happened, I also am not able to lock the doors from driver or passenger with the key turned off. The unlock will work. It will not lock just by turning key on. I have to start the car before the lock will work. This happened after a pretty cold spell. (3 deg f) However, it has since warmed up and problem still exists. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like the ignition switch. The car thinks there is still a key in the switch and you can't lock the doors when the key is in.

uggh. I was hoping that was not it. I changed the switch in Oct with a new one. What a pain in the ace! not hard to change, just a pain!!!
