DRL won't shut off when car locked

My Daylight Running Lights on my 2002 Buick Rendezvous CXL have remained on and will not shut off when the car is stopped and locked. Have to disconnect battery to shut them off. Is there any other way to turn them off?
Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Fuse 14,( 15 amp), in the underhood fuse block should be the one for your DRL's. Does the DRL relay feel hot ?
Possible sticking relay ?

Just a thought.

Thank you for your suggestion discnik. Will have to wait til it happens again to check it out. Not sure where the relay is. I would guess the fuse is close to it.

Look in the owners manual for the relay and fuse location.

Thanks to you we located the relay and replaced it. We are hoping this solved the problem
