1999 durango

i have a 1999 dodge durango . the tranny started slipping a few minths ago about the same time that i noticed a leak in the pan! had the pan repaired fluid put back in but the tranny still slips in 2nd and 3rd. any ideas?? can a pan that is not sealed right even though fluid level is full cause slipping as well!
