Cool Finished: Civic Si....low down, by Fujivell. Lots of PICS!

This is the Revell Civic Coupe Si, I call it the Fujivell kit because it has several problems like, sink marks, poor hood and rear bumper fit, poor window fit. I used a set of the stock wheels with a set of XS tuning brakes modified to fit. The rear GT wing is from the Aoshima wing kit, and the car is painted with TS12 Orange with black and TS44 Brilliant Blue interior.

I made under hood mirrors by cutting out adhesive backed chrome mylar and put an oil cooler behind the grill opeing from the parts box.

I tinted the sun roof with Tamiya Clear Blue since my interior scheme involved blue.

I left the engine cam cover and part of the induction chrome and did the normal detail painting, there is one strip of carbon fiber on the cam cover.

I used the bronze colored carbon fiber from SMS on the hood and rear wing, and painted the wheels and wing stantions with Testors Burnt iron over gold. The front seats are form the parts box.

I made Altezza style tail lights from the optional kit bezels and used MV lenses fr the lights.

I painted part of the head light bezels black and lowered the car by sanding the back of the XS Tuning brakes nearly smooth and glued them to the stock kit mounts at a lower position.

I have been waiting to see someone complete a revell civic si cause I would like to buy one but I can't find it in the hobby lobby yet. I looks great and I think I still am going to get despite the fit problems.
