Polishing w/ Decals...

Hey. I just finished my second model and put the decals on before I polished. Would it damage the decals if I polished over them? All are very small emblems...

If they're not sealed with clearcoat, there's a chance that they might be removed

What do you suggest I should do? I might be able to kinda polish around them...

I doubt you'll be able to avoid them. Either clearcoat or remove the decals or don't polish at all.

You can wax over the decals with Tamiya wax(I don't know that other brands will be decal safe), but I wouldn't recommend polishing.....assuming when you say poilishing you mean using compound on the model to create a smoother finish......

I do any required polishing before applying decals, and once the decals are applied I wax the model with Tamiya wax.
