Alan Moffatt's ANZ Ford Sierra from the ATCC

I have started working on this one seeing i was lucky enough to get a new sheet of the decals. I have sprayed the body Tamiya TS26 and the interiors is semi gloss black. I hope it will just be a quick build as there are not many details to this one. Alan raced this car at Bathurst in 1989 along with Frank Biela & Klaus Niedzwietz. I am about to clean off the body seeing i finished the decals and then put a coat of 2K over it all before i do the window trims etc.

I have had this kit for years. I had a few when the decals became available to do most of the Australian teams running them. I think they can be had on ebay etc now...It is the Tamiya kit.

Very true Malscar this car is depicting the one as raced at Bathurst in the 1000...You would not have a spare one you want to get rid of by chance????

Almost done with this one now. As you can see it is a fairly basic kit, i have done the 2K over the decals, had a small problem with some fisheye in the roof but it is OK. I have to just do the black trims around windows & doors and then seal it up.
