Looks promising... I grew up playing with the little guys. So, even if it's garbage... I'll probably still enjoy it just cause it's G.I. Joe made real.

A child of the '80s I am indeed.

Well, I didn't like the first Transformers but I'll give the second one a chance. However, G.I. Joe I'll see regardless.

Re: G.I. Joe - The Rise Of Cobra.

What killed me about transformers was that I followed the comic books that came out as a prequel to the movie. The comics are bad ass but they where following this whole direction and in the movie they flip a 180 and go another direction. It was stupid as hell. Im through with Transformers, seriously the only way I'll bother is if I hear that they are revamping it and doing it all over from scratch. like they did with the Batman franchise, just start all over and do it again.
As long as Bay, Spielberg and Kutzman are attached to it I wont bother.

Now as for G.I.Joe they are somewhat doing a good job. they got Larry Hamma to be the consultant for the movie. Larry Hamma created G.I. joe back in 1982. they guy invented the whole series and he wrote the comic books for marvel from 82 to 94. who better to help in putting this film together?

Knowing is half the battle....G.I. JOE!!!

Gawd I miss that some much...thank you for YouTube.

Anyway, lately I've been seeing a lot of costumes and Snake Eyes looks bad-fuckin-ass! This movie has got me pumped. I can't wait to see the trailers.

Re: G.I. Joe - The Rise Of Cobra.

Snake Eyes looks odd with 'regular' pants on. The upper half of his costume looks sweet... but then it looks like he's got on some cargo pants from Old Navy.

Did they use their whole budget in making his mask and decide to hit up the local mall to finish it off?

They couldn't of made the rest of his suit be more form fitting? I mean, think how dumb Spider-Man would look if he had his red and blue tights on from the waist up and some pants...

I'll still go see it.

Re: G.I. Joe - The Rise Of Cobra.

Yeah, I had noticed that too. Hes wearing S.W.A.T. style cargo pants with some armor knee and shin padding. I think its the combo of tight upperbody with loose lower frame that looks dumb but comming from a military background it wouldnt of made sense to make his pants tight too, then hed be a black spiderman with a Katana and a Mac-10.

Marlon Wayans looks like a badass moffo too. Im still not too sure about Denis Quaid though.

Eh.... but the tight pants looks more Ninja-ish. He just looks out of proportion.. like a weeble-wobble. Can't knock him down... fat legs.
