low oil pressurs light

have an 2004 park ave, "low oil pressure" light comes on and off. oil level is fine. any suggestions?

Does the car have DIC (driver information center)?

Sounds like the oil pressure-sending unit is malfunctioning, as in the same way the oil pressure gage reacts when they read extremely high, or fluctuate. Change the sending unit and see what happens. You had better hope that is the only problem!

yes, it fluciates from low oil pressure to normal oil pressure and the psi changes from o to 130 psi. after about 30-45 min of driving everything is fine until car is restarted.

thanks for the advice, the problem seems to straighten itself out after 30-45 min of driving until you restart car.
