2006 Impala rear defogger problem

When turning on the rear defogger, the switch will blink a few times but then goes out and will not stay on . Its this a relay problem?

the most common failure with these rear defrosters is a bad feed and bad ground conections...with a meter find the open circuit..

the dealer told me it was a bad connector at the glass, mine the light on the dash would come on and stay on but would never defrost the window even after 2 or 3 cycles
