Not nearly as pretty as their GT cars. I don't think the Gulf livery agrees with it.

...But that doesn't mean it won't be cool having Aston racing in LMP!

Studio 27 will surely release a curbside model by mid season.

He obviously isn't into scale modeling!

PS: There will certainly be a Carrera one too.

Sweeeeeeeet! This will be a great battle at LeMans although I can't see them on the same level as Audi or Peugeot but we will see I guess...

I hope to have my DB-R9 finished before this one will be released

Re: Anyone for the new Aston LMP1 car... :)

I was wondering what make this "car" different from any other... indeed with a Skoda or Daewoo badge in the nose it wouldn't looks much strange..... I understand they're designed by wind but I hope there's ever room for a bit of creativity, imagination, the only "aston" shaped front intake is all they offers to our dreams?

Anyway, in a time when big manufacturers escape from championship to save few penny (I'm sure they have top managers that keep much more that what needed for a MotoGP season) it would be a great news.

But if they have in mind to win, they need to mount (in the Lola frame) a diesel (thirdy parts) engine

Re: Anyone for the new Aston LMP1 car... :)

its only a Lola Coupe with a new nose, plus, I think Lola's nose is way better anyway, but its great Aston Martin is going to LMP1, although the great GT1 fight is now dead sadly

the diesels have been penalized 10% air restriction to the petrol 3%, enough teams finally complained the ACO/IMSA finally listened that there was too big of an advantage

LOL

I agree that it is neither pretty, distinctive or particularly sexy but you know what? I'm glad to see them "going for it"
