2006 Grand Caravan Oil Pressure Light

The oil pressure light comes on when I'm stopped and idling. Shuts off when I accerelate. Any ideas as to the problem? Bad switch maybe?

Any harm driving or should I get it in for service ASAP?

Have you made sure You're not low on oil?

Best if you test the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge in order see what your actual oil pressure is at idle and under acceleration. Best if you service ASAP to prevent engine failure.

Like stated above make sure oil level is correct, if correct I would take to dealer have them check it under warranty. When was last oil change and what oil and filter do you use?
