Which Transmission Filter?

Guys, I just came from a parts store. There computer lists two different transmission filters for my 2000 Astro AWD.

I'm in the process of changing all of the fluids. I just finished a complete tuneup. I also bought Auto-Trak II GM transfer case fluid and new differential fluid.

So, which filter do I need? TIA!

Re: Which Transmission Filter?

You'll have to look at the pan on your vehicle. There are two possibilities: one has a flat bottom and the other has a "stepped" bottom. (They both have 16 bolt holes.) The gaskets are interchangable but the filters are not.
