Won't start in cold?

I have a 2001 zx3 that dosnt want to start in the cold. i got a new battery but the problem still occurs. Should i get a stronger battery maybe ?

Does the engine turn over?

Can you smell gas?

When was the last tune-up?

The engine just keeps cranking and cranking won't turn over.. I dont knw about the last tune up i've only had the car for a few months.. and no smell of gas i dont believe

If it sounds like it is cranking over faster than usual than I would take a look at the timing belt. If it sounds like it is cranking normal than it couldn't hurt to pull a plug and see if it is wet. If its dry than I wonder if the fuel pump is working?

yeah i also am wondering about the fuel pump since when i go under a half of tank the car dosnt run right taking corners and such.. so i'll take a look next time i go out and see whats causing it thanks alot.
