need help ?

..84 s-10 2.8..will not turn over by key..new parts.ignition coil/switch/starter
...new battery.new module in distributor...motor will turn over if jump at the
..starter.all fuses are good..clutch switch has a bypass.. plz HELP ..

On the switch, you mean the lock cyclinder or the electrical portion of the ignition switch ?

Do you have power on the yellow wire off of the ignition switch when the key is in the start position ?
Is there power to the yellow wire a the clutch switch ?
If you have power on the yellow wire with the clutch switch jumpered, (Not a safe idea), do you have power comming out the other side, Purple wire, ?

....Repalce the ignition switch..will check yellow and purple..wire..truck ran for 2 years with neutral switch bypass.truck crank up
move about fifty feet and went dead have light but no juice above starter
looked for fuse link non found..Thank You...
