Question Interior lights and vent switch don't work

The interior lights and vent switch stopped working on my 2000 Venture WB Edition.

A fuse controls both of these, but the fuse is good. I'm guessing there's a short somewhere unless there's another relay or fuse that both of these go through as well.

I've tried trading fuses, and the fuse has no resistance through the terminals, so I know it is good.

What else can I do to troubleshoot this or find the short?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Interior lights and vent switch don't work

Have you made sure that the over-ride switch is in the on position, if it is, check for voltage at the dark blue wire on the switch. If there is no power, on the passenger side floor board by the kick panel pull back the carpet. In the wire loom there should be a dark blue wire that goes to the over-ride switch from the BCM. This wire needs to be checked for continuity from the BCM to the switch.

Hope this helps.
