How do I know if my Starter is Going out?
I have a 96 Z24 and when I start some times now it makes just a zooooooooom sound. It doesn't make the rev-rev-reve sound and then turn over right away. However, it will start if I try one or two more times. Is this the starter?
regards and thanks in advance for any advice. |

Re: How do I know if my Starter is Going out?
Use your DVOM and check if your voltage is good at the starter. Check the small wire to the solenoid and make sure its getting power when you try to start. Then make sure the big wire stays above 11 Volt when trying to start.
