99 taurus flasher location
Can anyone tell me where the heck the turn signal flasher is on this? It's a four door

Are you asking where the button is to turn on your emergency flashers?
It is located on the top of your steering column near the instrument panel.

It is under the dash to the left of the steering column. Diagram shows it to be behind and below the GEM moduls.

Yes I'm looking for the flasher element, I need to replace it. I have the new one, but having a hard time finding the old one under the dash. I assume the gem mods. are the ones on the inside firewall with all the wires coming out of them looks like 3 or 4 of them. I must be blind cause I would think it should be very plain to see..LOL . I'll have to get under there again (freezing my ars off in northeastern ohio)..Thanks Jeff

I had a similiar problem with my 98 Taurus, but it turned out to be the turn signal relay was bad as the signals worked but not the flashers. If its like the 98 Taurus, it is mounted on a metal support for the dash to the left of the steering column (right side if you are on your back looking up at the column). While on your back, you have to reach up into the dash up against the back of the dash itself. I thought both mechanisms were there, but it just maybe only the relay. I had to use schematics to find it. Good Luck.
