Put a 99 2.4 in a 97

There is a sensor on the back side of the motor, looks like some kind of magnetic pick up.The one on the original 97 2.4 is about 1/2 the size of a hockey puck, threads into the blockand has a 1 wire plug on it. The one on the 99 2.4 is smaller, has a 2 wire plug and bolts to the block with a bolt through the center. How do I convert this?

Re: Put a 99 2.4 in a 97

Ok more info. The sensor is the knock sensor, the older one is a 1 wire plug and screws into the block, the new one is a 2 wire plug that bolts to the block with about a m10 bolt.
