95 GT Needs some help.

I've had this beautiful little Escort for about a year now. Wonderful car. I'm ready to get it right and would like some info from people who know more about this car than I. I've been a Honda mechanic for awhile so I don't really know aftermarket for the Escorts well. Here's what I want/need to get this thing right.


Intake tube (between MAS and Mani)
Stiffer front and rear suspension (springs and shocks)
Front and rear, upper and lower tie rods


Considering a change to my rims, I want something an inch or two bigger that's somewhat wider. I've been told that some mustang rims will be good replacements. Is there any truth to that?


Would appreciate any recommendations or info. Thanks for looking!
