Question 89 4 speeed auto overdrive proble help plz

1989 mustang 4 speed automatic overdrive wont go in you can feel it still there but if u push on the gas i just got to drive any help on it. i know its there because you can drive down the road at 55 and let off the gas and put it form drive to over drive and the rpm change a lot drive runs at 3000 at 55 and over drive runs at1800rmp at 55 so any one have any clue on it thanks for ur time

is the linkage hooked up on the throttle body if so you may need 2 adjust it

thanks ill look and see if it is i know its hooked up but adjusting it might help
