|
A few completed builds with more pics
Before the weather turned bad in the northeast, I sprayed 10 or so model bodies while I still could provide proper ventilation. I have been finishing them up as time permits. These are my fifth through eighth models, so I'm still learning and they are all box stock. The weather has been terrible in Northern NY, so these pictures were taken in my kitchen. Not the best photography but better than waiting until Spring!
The first is a 1/24 Aoshima 2005 Fairlady Z. Painted with Tamiya Mica Blue over Light Gun Metal and cleared with Testors Wet Look Clear.     The next is Testors Chezoom. A very basic kit with no interior or engine detail. Painted with Pactra Chezoom Teal and Testors Wet Look Clear.  This is a 1/24 Doyusha Aston Martin DB5 painted with Tamiya Gloss Aluminum and Wet Look Clear.      Finally, this is the Revell 1/24 Plymouth GTX. Painted with Tamiya Candy Lime Green over Testors Inca Gold and Wet Look Clear.     Criticisms and comments are welcome. Last edited by Jimmy'Z; 01-24-2009 at 02:48 PM. You are far too modest - they are fantastic builds by any standard
 A lovely "spectrum" of tastes, styles and periods. They have been put together beautifully and the paint work looks flawless!

Thanks for all the compliments. Very much appreciated. Weather and time permitting, I'll try to get some better pics of the 350Z and post them. Here is a link to the first 4 builds that I posted some months back.

Love the DB5! Although if you took another photo angle, it would look really weird....They have awkward proportion. Please TAMIYA make an Aston for the Historic Line! PLIZZZ...anyway great work mate!
