96 mustang - not started in 2yrs

I have a 96 mustang 3.6 V6 that I have not started in 2 years. I parked it when I bought my truck and have let it sit. It will turn over, but not crank. I have put in a new battery and gas, still won't start. Any suggestions?

Generally these 2 terms are synonymous. I think you mean it will turn over but not fire.
There are many problems that can occur which can cause this condition.
Diagnosis requires going back to basics. Pull one spark plug, leave the plug wire on, and ground the plug to the metal on the engine. Have someone turn the engine over while you look for spark.

If the spark is good, check the fuel pressure. There should be a schraeder valve on the fuel rail where you can install a pressure gauge. I think you should have at least 35psi.

Doing these 2 tests will help you isolate the potential problem.
