02 Alero not firing on all 4
Hi, I am currently working on my sisters 02 Alero. It has a 2.2L and is a pain in the but. The car stopped on here and never started again. I have recently found that the cat converter and exhaust was completely plugged. Unplugged and straight piped. Then checked fuel pressure and changed fuel pump. Also changed plugs. When my idle hits 4 thou it kicks out. I checked the fire and only getting fire to the two outside plugs. IS this a coil problem and how much do these usually cost? Thanks for the advice.

alero misfire
i have an 02 alero i am currently working on. Has a major misfire and i am running out of ideas with how to fix it. I have just purchased coils for it and it made it worse. Does any one have any ideas on what can be causing this problem.
Thanks, |

Re: alero misfire
Welcome to AF and the forum.
It would help to post what engine you have. 2.2 Ecotec 4 or the 3400 V6? Also, post the misfire DTC, if present. Note: Your other recent post on the same issue has been merged with the new post.
