electrical question
I have a few things i want to hook up to my cars electical system. On a few of them it say it can go through the cigarette adapter or hooked up to the battery. I have the wire to reach the battery, but i'm relatively new to my civic and i haven't messed with the battery yet, so once i figure out how to disconnect it how do i put one of these wires around it? do i give myself plenty of wire and just wrap it around the positive and negative terminals? How do i get it to stay there? Then do i just connect the battery like it was? Oh, and what stores sell soldering guns?

You have all the neon and stereo stuff in your sig, but you can't figure out how to connect a single wire to the battery?

If its something that draws little current, like neons, Go to Autozone and get a small fused distribution block. Install that and then run your accessories off that. Just tap into any 12v line like your cig lighter (splice wire into cig wire).
If you're wiring up an amp or something big, I'd recommend a new aftermarket battery terminal from Wal-Mart or anywhere that sells car stereos. Whatever you do, NEVER hook ANY accessory directly up to your battery without an inline fuse.
