After turning right when I let go of the steering wheel the alignment of the car veers totally right.... and if I turn left the alignment goes left, however not as bad as when I turn right. Would this be a broken upper strut bearing??

Re: Broken Upper Strut Bearing???
Welcome to AF. Something is binding in the steering, yes a strut mount is one possibility so is a frozen tie rod end or even a ball joint.BTW always post the year and any pertinent related info.

Re: Broken Upper Strut Bearing???
Thanks for responding maxwedge
I have a 1996 V6 3.1 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. My car has 205,000km on it, the rack and pinion is broken (but its too costly to fix)... Do you want to know anything else Maxwedge??? |
