upper motor mount

Well the upper motor mount on the pas side of my 94 SL2 is blown apart. Looks like a easy swap, but just want to know if I should jack the engine up a little first, or can I just unbolt, and reinstall??

Lift the engine some with a hydralic jack and a block of wood under the oil pan. Just about a quarter inch or so.
