2000 LT Blazer Dome/Reading Lights not working

I got my fuel pump replaced just today, and got the car back and the dome/reading lights do not work. I really don't think the fuel pump has anything to do with that.

Before we took the Blazer to the shop for the fuel pump, we were charging the battery and hitting the gas tank to make sure it was indeed the fuel pump the was bad. Well, in the process, my Dad wanted to take the underhood light out so it wasn't on while we were charging it. Wouldn't you know it, in the process of trying to take it out, he broke it and it exploded. I'm thinking this has something to do with it, probably blown a fuse. Can anyone confirm this or help me out?

ccording to the wiring diaggram I am looking at fuse 8 controls the interior & under hood light. See if fuse 8 is blown.
