Should I go full synthetic?
I have a 2003 CR-V with 2100 miles on it.
I was wondering if it is advisable to go to full synthetic? The manual says its possible, but our local honda mechanic says i should use a synthetic blend? Has anyone out there with the same car moved to full synthetic? And have you experienced any problems by doing so? Or any improvements? |

You shouldn't have any problems. Synthetic is usually better for your motor, especially if you live in a warm climate. Be advised that once you start using synthetic oil, you should not go back to regular or even a blend for that matter.

thats true, if you plan to do synthetic, which is all good for any car, dont go switiching back and forth, stay with it, even if it does cost 4.50 a bottle.

Sythetic is basically better in every way, it just costs more. If you're willing to spend the extra cash then go for it, there won't be any problems on a new engine.
