Need 2000 Impala hood, left headlamp and headlamp support

Son had a superficial hit on the front end of his 2000 Impala.. Does anyone have a hood, and the box that the hood latches to @ the core support, headlamp mounting assy and left headlamp, and grill??
or could direct me to anyone that may have such parts? Hopefully close to Dayton Ohio.. Lots to ask for.. Thankx

Just call a local salvage yard, they network countrywide to get the parts, very routine issue.

I did.. They want an arm and a leg for the stuff. Was hoping that someone in the gen Ohio area was parting out a car and would not want the "arm and leg" prices.. I could drive to get them... I understand that the 00,01,02,03,04, and 05 are the same parts..
They do seem to all have the same search engine..

You are correct about the 00-05, they are all the same.
They are all high demand items, most yards I've seen are pretty proud of them also.

Re: Need 2000 Impala hood, left headlamp and headlamp support

Have you tried www.car-part.com ? That is a site that has many salvage yards in it's network. When you go to the site, you enter your vehicle's info and select the part you need. You can also refine the search closer to you by zip code or region. The listings for the parts generally include the color , condition, and price along with the yard's contact info. Many of the yards also ship the parts, but if you refine your search closer to you you can pick up the parts yourself and save on shipping charges.
Some of the smaller items you need might also be available on eBay. Again, there you can also refine your search closer to your vicinity.

Be careful. The PCM is right up in that area, under the air filter housing. Make sure you check that out and take care if welding around it.

Look familiar?

Just did one of those about a year ago. Parts are easy enough to find, even though there are lots of police/SEO cars eating up the stock. A new headlight assembly is only about $140.00 plus shipping.

No fender damage at all. Just hood, hood latch, hinges, and grill.

But I decided to have it fixed, A friend in the biness is gettin me a great deal. Labor plus his price on parts - under $1000
