Re: had spark plugs changed ...now wont start

Why did you have the plugs changed in the first place? Was is just planned maintenance, or was there already a problem you wished new plugs could solve?...and how long was the time between the plug change and the presnet condition ?

Cool Re: had spark plugs changed ...now wont start

just went through this myself... I had to change the ignition coils on my kia. I changed the plugs and ignition wires it would start but no power at all had a friend bring his machine over and it ended up being the ignition coils 2 and 4 wasnt getting nothing. once I changed this and put everything back for the 100th time it cranked and ran beautifully
This was the first time I had ever done the spark plugs on a car much less on a Kia. and I went ahead and changed valve cover gasket, ignition coils and plugs and wires. from now on when I need to change plugs I will make sure I buy the ignition coils, gaskets, plugs, and wires before doing anything. my next project on my Kia is changing the motor on the passanger's side for the window.
