no fuel on start up

GA_googleFillSlot("Forums_ROS_300x250_noad");Hi all new to forum.

I have a 89 S10 4.3 tbi 4x4 truck
I got the fuel pump for 2 sec when I turn key to on
but when motor is cold I need to pump the gas to get the injectors to pump fuel?
but when its warm it fires right off?
It all started when I changed my heater core and themostat.
I loosend my dash and pulled it out a bit on the passenger side.
I have replaced:
fuel pump relay
ignition module

Is there a ground strap I may have off in the dash area? Is there a ground strap for the ecm?
It runs great once started. it goes down the road fine even freeway no fuel starvation

Re: no fuel on start up

Check the thermostat bolt grounds and the tempt sending unit to computer and also the air intake sensor for being plugged up.

Re: no fuel on start up

Every thing was fine untill the heater core tho. I have ran another ground on the wires that go to the stud.... No change
Could I have plulled off a ground wire by the heater core? or is there any there?
The only wires I unplugged were the two ecm and that 1 plug that hooks into that white thing that attaches to the ecm bracket

Re: no fuel on start up

Check for and check all ground wires on stat housing?
Will code clear and come back or not come back?
