Electrical Connector Removal???
How do you remove the electrical connectors on a Nissan???
 Specifically, the fuel pump/fuel sender connectors at the fuel tank... I cleaned off the connectors and the top of the sending/pump unit, and inspected the connectors, but I don't know which parts to pry or squeeze, and I don't want to break anything... Could someone describe or direct me to a diagram/picture of what to do ( or what *not* to do!)??? Thank you!

That one is a bitch. There is no description in the service manual on how to do this. One time I completely destroyed one trying to get it off (the rest of the line was being replaced, so I didn't care). The other time it came off smooth as buttah. But I can't remember what I did. It seems like you should just push down on the tab and pull.
Maybe check with a Nissan mechanic and let us know. A lot of people have asked me that question, but nobody has ever posted how.

I had no problem with either of the 2 external harness connectors, or the internal one going to the fuel pump. The two external fuel lines were also pretty easy, and one of the internal ones is identical. It's that last internal fuel line that I've not managed to disconnect in the three times I've been in there. According to the ESM, you have to fully depress the 2 small tabs on the collar and the tube will come out.

Sounds like that is different than say the ABS electrical connector I had problems with.

Interestingly, another dealer/parts dept I saw recommended on this site told me the senders are still on "deep back order"... Hopefully, when I can see it, and compare it to the illustrations Brett posted the links to, I can figure out what tab to lift or press to get the connections off...

Hey.
I would suggest you spend $1 and try QuikMechanic at: http://www.ineed1.com/quikmechanic.html I used them before and they helped alot. I did waste my money and go to a mechanic without being prepared and without spending to much money like $68 per hour, and still don't fix it. It's just $1 anyway, so you can't go wrong. Chutch
