MFH Porsche RSR Turbo, any good?

The kit has been released for about a month now. Just wondering if anyone has bought the kit, seen the kit in person or read any review elsewhere.

I'm really looking forward to see it built by any one of you modeling masters here.

I plan on getting one in the next few weeks hopefully. Hopefully someone will post something by then.

I have one coming in, hopefully today. Once it gets here I'll snap some pictures and post something.

I would love to see a road version built. The body looks smooth.

Found this on Island Collectible, in addition to the pics on MFH site. Doesn't seem to have many parts. Can't wait to see some close up pics

Do you know if is usually possible to buy just the decals of the MFH kits? I have three old Nitto, Marui and Esci Kits of this car and the decals seem to be in bad shape...

Try to contact them, I got price for separate parts with no problem.

According to Stradasports they are sold out of the "extra" decals.
This kit does look very simple, with no engine detail. More like a Studio 27 kit
than a Hiro.

This is part of the new "cheap" limited run curbside line that also includes the Fiat Abarth 750GT, Porsche 550 and Lancia Beta Gr.5. I'm tempted to get one but I'll wait until I see better photos as Hiro have let me down a few times lately with some questionable shapes and poor quality castings.

You can see the Abarth on my website...

http://www.scalecentral.org

I don't have it any more as I couldn't find a car I wanted to do with it.

Re: MFH Porsche RSR Turbo, any good?

The resin is very similar to Studio27's gray resin except that it is white. The kits are very good and remind me of Studio27's kits. There were several pieces that were nickle plated. Overall, I would recommend these types of kits for an intermediate modeler. They are good kits to get for your first resin kits. The only other kits out there for beginners that I would recommend over these are Fisher's. Ever since MFH switched over to the white resin, their kits have improved tremendously as far as the body fit and shape.

Found these pics on eBay...
