instrament tach?

i got a 93 f50 5spd and it did not have a tach with the instrament cluster and i was wondering if i could get 1 from a junkyard and hook it up?

Yep. But Oil guages & their sending units are matched so grab the sender if replacing the whole cluster. look for the same year but it can be out of a ranger, bronco, ect... the connector is pre-wired for the tach (plug n' play). Then you can visually confirm when your clutch throws in the towel.

the other thing i want to know is that if i do change the instrament cluster out is that do i have to keep the odometer the one that comes with the instrament cluster. and about the oil sending unit. the place i might get the instrament cluster is a pick and pull place and they dont have most of the engines in them. so could i buy one that matches up to the oil guage?
