Question Remote For Keyless Entry

First, I would like to start b sayig thanks to the person that answered my post. Second, I tried what the person said and it STILL dd not work. I switched out batteries in the key fob, even went and bought new ones for it and it still did not work. Is it because I have a key fob that was previously programmed to a different Saturn? If so is there a different way to program it? Or do I need to get a new one?
