Rim width - is wider better?
I have decided that 205/65/15 Goodyear Assurance ComforTred tires are the ones I want. According to the Goodyear website, any rim width from 5.5" to 7.5" can work.
I am currently considering 2 alloy rims. One has 6.5" rim width and the other has a 7.0" rim width. Both are in the same price/value range. Ignoring aesthetics, how do I decide which one is the better choice? |

Re: Rim width - is wider better?
For practical purposes, this rim width change will have little effect compared to the type of tire you purchase. Plus offset will affect things as well.
It's hard to predict. |

How does rim width by itself affect the situation? |
