95 jimmy no start

Well my jimmy died on me a while back while i was driving it. I was just leaving the store and it died on me a few hundred feet down the road. I managed to coast it into a parking lot but could not get it started again. I got it towed home that night, and went to work on it the next day. I took the distributor cap off and found that the rotor had come loose and there were little bits of plastic broken off from it in the distributor. I went and got me a new cap and rotor put them on and she started up, ran really rough but started up. I shut it off to check and make sure i had everything on good and tight, then when i went to start it up it wouldn't start again. Its been sitting for about a month here now as it got really cold out and i don't have a garage to work on it in, now its nice this weekend and i would like to get her fixed but i'm just at a loss right now anybody have any ideas? Its a 4.3 code W, 4x4, the check engine light is on but i don't have access to a scanner to see what codes are there, the fuel pressure is all good i checked that. It cranks really good and almost seems like it wants to fire up. And it was running really good before this, i had to replace the starter just before winter but other than that it was all good. Any help would be appreciated, and thanks in advance.

Re: 95 jimmy no start

What is the fuel pressure reading?
Have you got good hot blue spark to all plugs?
Is dist rotor turning when cranking?
Have you checked the dist shaft for side play?

Is the rotor still point to no one cylinder at TDC compression stroke?

Make sure the plug wires are on right.
