I have a 1999 Oldsmobile Bravada. I love mine, just a few gliches. I to am a female. My problem is... The heated seat on drivers side doesn't work. The electric seat itself moves and lumbar works just no heat on the seat. Any helpful pointers would be helpful. Is there a fuse that controls that, or a wiring problem. Oh, the heated seat on passenger side does work. If that makes a diffrence.
P.S. I didn't get a owners manual with the this. I know it doesn't help matters. Any help would be greatly appreciated |

Re: no heat on the seat. its cold outside
You might look under the seat and see if anything is unplugged.

Re: no heat on the seat. its cold outside
Power seat problems should be taken very seriously as Bravadas of your vintage have been known to burn down in the middle of the night with out the key in or anybody about. There are two problems with the seat wiring, 1. the wiring harness runs under the carpet on the drivers side near the gas pedal and 2. the wiring harness also is subject to wear as it runs past the metal brace in the seat.

Re: no heat on the seat. its cold outside
More than likely the seat heater itself is burned out and needs to be replaced. The seat has to be pulled and the seat cover removed to do this.
