El Camaro
i got a 79 camino with a 78 z28 camaro 350 in it and a holley 670cfm carb (elec. choke) sittin on top of it. it needs a tune-up bad... it needs timing and carb adjusted, it diesels after turning off and it runs real hot (190-210), the thermostat kicks in at about 140-150. can anyone give me some suggestions about what to do first????? anything will help.

it's not running that hot. set your timing first, then adjust carb. you will hafta go back and forth between the 2 after than until you get it dialed in perfect.
