How do you set the clock on the radio?
Can someone please tell me how to set the clock on the radio? It is factory with a cd player for a 2000 Silhouette. Also, my fuel gage doesn't work. Is that a fuse or something else? Or can it be fixe at all?

Turn key to the ON position. Press and hold the buttons until you see the clock numbers on the radio, release at the correct time. The fuel sending unit (that operates the fuel gauge) is in the fuel tank and is not cheap to replace unless you have the knowledge and equipment/facilities to do the tank removal to get at it. IIRC, there is a fuel pump relay in the underhood box but no fuse for either that or the sending unit. IF you decide to attempt to replace the sending unit, make CERTAIN you remove the battery cables first. I know as I had to have mine replaced (by my independent tech/shop) when it quit. It lasted one year then it died. So, I said to heck with it and now just use the odometer to calculate roughly how far I can drive before refilling. There is an additive available from the dealer but at $20 a (little) bottle it isn't cheap and it only works if your gauge IS working AND you pour this stuff in every third tankful. Me? I can find plenty more important things to spend money on.
